Breaking Porn Addictions Before Its Too Late

For many, breaking porn addictions may seem like something that is nearly impossible. The countless amounts of times they tried but failed, if you find yourself in this position then there’s a few reasons why and by reading the following, you will have a clearer understanding on why you keep staying the same and why it feels like a never-ending cycle.First of all, let’s go through why most fail in breaking porn addictions and see what steps they go through. For most people, they do not know any proper form of handling these types of addictions therefore, they keep doing what we call a resistance cycle. This cycle has 4 steps in which most people will go through and can repeat for years. The first step most people will do is set up a goal and stop abruptly. It often happens a lot in new year resolutions and other occasions. They simply decide that they’ll stop their addiction starting today and never do it ever again. So basically the main plan is to stop immediately, avoid watching porn and masturbation in many cases and resist the urges. The second phase is when things starts to boil. The urges starts to buildup and there isn’t any way of breaking it. The person is simply feeling overwhelmed by their desires and cannot seem to do anything properly without thinking about it. It is an irritating feeling. The third step is when the urges are at its peak and that is when most are breaking down and can no longer resist. As much as they try again and again, it simply doesn’t work for them so they give in and the fight is loss.Lastly, once they have committed the act, they feel ashamed and frustrated. They lost and as much as they tried their hardest, it just doesn’t work. Breaking porn addictions is just something that they think will never happen but non the less, they’ll try harder next time and start the first step once again. If you find yourself going through this cycle, you need help. Breaking porn addictions has never been easy and as much as people think it is, it is just as bad as breaking other addictions such as smoking, alcohol etc. It is something that needs treatment and you can find the proper help online by getting a guide or follow a course. Most people go through this route since people suffering from this type of addiction would rather not show it to others since its pretty shameful. Furthermore, they want to stay completely anonymous all while breaking porn addictions.
